Guys can we have a serious talk though? I don't know if y'all realize but we have really fallen behind as a people in terms of evolution. We have regressed very much from where our ancestors left us.
Why is it that today, wild animals and mineral resources are the only things that can be said about our motherland yet human beings exist here? How comes there is nothing that can be said about us, the people who run the land?
Was it not our ancestors on this motherland who once discovered fire when the whole world was in total darkness? Was it not our ancestors who explored the world, migrating from one end of the globe to the other in search for adventure and new beginnings?
Was it not our ancestors who built huge & mysterious structures all along river Nile structures yet to be explained by modern science and invented systems that worked for them without waiting on anyone to show them how?
We have really failed the ancient ones. We have grown dull and incapable, allowed our creativity to die, and allowed ourselves to live like sheep. A people who once carried the light of the world and now all we do is follow from behind.
What has happened to us? Are we permanently lost? I don't think so. Infact we have never been lost. Deep inside we are still them we’re just afraid to embrace who we are because of what has been said about it.
We've been told it is backward, uncivilized and savage — and that the only way to be “civilized” is through the colonizer’s way.
But the truth is: advancement does not have a single direction. There are many directions of advancing and we can pick our own and lead in it. That is what the ancestors are reminding us.
“THE DAYS OF SHAME ARE OVER!! RENEWAL IS HERE! GO OUT NOW AND CREATE A NEW REALITY FOR YOURSELVES AND YOUR GENERATIONS TO COME.”
Join us in this mission. Let’s map out our own future as we imagine it, not as imagined by others. Let’s create our own unique culture — adapted to our modern environment — and build a community strong enough to unite all of us regardless of skin, colony (country), or tribe. We are Belagidds — the ones who had been lost, who are now being refound.
